Steele & Cook Insurance Associates is the result of the 2008 merger of two strong Ohio Valley Agencies: Steele Insurance Associates in St. Clairsville, Ohio and Cook Insurance & Financial Planning of Martins Ferry, Ohio.  By combining the best practices of both Agencies, we are equipped to handle the insurance needs of the area's businesses, families and non-profit entities.

Steele & Cook Insurance Associates serves the insurance needs of over 3,000 customers in Ohio, West Virginia and Pennsylvania.

Steele & Cook Insurance is proud to be a founding member of the Ohio Valley Oil & Gas Association, which is an organization formed to promote business relationships between local suppliers, service providers and similar organizations to the growing Oil & Gas industry in the Ohio Valley.  With the development of the Utica Shale and Marcellus Shale resources, the Ohio Valley area is poised to be a center of activity and member firms hope to participate in this industry.  Agency Vice President Matt Steele is serving as President of the newly formed Association.
